SEO & Sharing
ZeroCut gives you control over how your donation page appears across the web — from Google search results to link previews on Discord, Twitter, and iMessage.
Sitemap
When you enable Show on Sitemap, your page gets added to our sitemap.xml file. This is the file that Google and other search engines read to discover pages on a website.
Once listed, Google will eventually crawl and index your page, making it show up in search results for your name or handle.
Things to know
- It takes time. Google doesn't crawl instantly — it can take days to weeks for your page to appear in search results after enabling this.
- Disabling doesn't remove you immediately. If you turn this off, your page is removed from the sitemap right away, but Google may keep showing cached results for a while. If you need a faster removal, contact us at contact@zerocut.gg and we can manually request removal on your behalf.
- Your page must be public. If you've disabled your public page, it won't appear in search results regardless of this setting.
Metadata Image
The metadata image (also called an OG image) is the preview image that shows up when someone shares your link on platforms like Discord, Twitter/X, iMessage, Slack, and others.
You can choose between a light or dark color scheme for this image. The image is generated automatically using your page's current theme colors.
Use the Preview button in the editor to see exactly how your link will look when shared on different platforms.
Favicon
Enabling Profile Picture as Favicon replaces the default ZeroCut icon in browser tabs with your profile picture. This gives your page a more personal, branded feel when visitors have it open in their browser.
