Terms of Service
Last updated: August 24, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using zerocut.gg ("ZeroCut", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
ZeroCut is a donation platform that enables content creators to receive donations from their audience. We take zero platform fees on donations. Stripe or PayPal may still charge standard payment processing fees.
2. Eligibility
To use ZeroCut, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
3. Account Registration
To use our services, you must create an account by providing your name, email address, and connecting a payment processor (Stripe or PayPal). You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches
Each Stripe account and PayPal email may be connected to only one ZeroCut account, unless we approve otherwise in writing. You may not create or use extra accounts, shared payment details, alternate PayPal emails, or alternate Stripe accounts to get around a suspension, ban, account limit, or trial limit.
4. Services and Fees
4.1 Platform Fees
ZeroCut charges 0% platform fees on donations. Stripe or PayPal may still charge standard payment processing fees, which we have no control over.
4.2 Plans and one-time purchases
Basic costs $20 as a one-time purchase and does not renew. Extra collaborator seats cost $20 each as one-time purchases and remain reusable on the purchasing account while it has Premium. Premium includes one collaborator seat before paid seats are applied.
Basic includes the standard donation page, donation processing, basic stream alerts, Insights, and donation analytics fixed to the most recent 30 days. Basic does not include page customization, visitor, platform, or comparison analytics, Live Log, Live Map, or team access. The ZeroCut watermark remains visible on Basic. A custom domain is an optional recurring add-on under Section 5.
4.3 Premium subscriptions
Premium renews automatically each month after any included introductory period. You may choose either of the following offers:
- $50 introductory offer: You pay $50 when you subscribe. That payment includes 3 months of Premium. After those 3 months, the subscription begins renewing monthly at the then-current rate, which is $5.99 as of the date above.
- $19.99 monthly price-lock offer: You pay $19.99 when you subscribe and each month after that. Your base Premium price stays at $19.99 while the same subscription remains continuously active.
The $5.99 renewal rate for the introductory offer is not locked. We may change it for future billing periods when operating costs, tax obligations, third-party charges, or the Premium service materially change. We will give you at least 30 days' advance notice by email or another durable electronic method. The notice will state the new rate, why it is changing, and when it takes effect. You may cancel before the change takes effect and avoid future renewals at the new rate.
The monthly price lock applies only to the base Premium subscription price. A past-due status or payment-retry period does not by itself end the lock. The lock ends if you cancel, the subscription expires, we terminate it under these Terms, or a failed payment is not resolved and the subscription ends. If you subscribe again later, the price available at that time applies. Taxes, add-ons, payment-provider fees, and other separately priced purchases are not covered by the lock.
You may cancel Premium from your billing settings at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not shorten a billing period you have already paid for, unless these Terms or applicable law require otherwise.
Legacy lifetime Premium: If our payment records show that you completed the former $50 lifetime Premium purchase before these subscription offers replaced it, your Premium access remains a lifetime grant. You do not need to start a Premium subscription to keep that grant. Recurring add-ons, including custom domains, and separately purchased collaborator seats are not included in the legacy grant.
4.4 Payment processing
All payments are processed securely through Stripe or PayPal. Payouts are handled directly by these payment processors and are subject to their terms and conditions. ZeroCut is not responsible for delays, fees, or issues related to payment processing by third-party providers.
5. Custom Domains
ZeroCut lets you connect your own domain name to your donation page. When you do this, visitors who go to your domain will see your ZeroCut page as if it were hosted there. By using a custom domain, you agree to everything in this section on top of the rest of these Terms.
5.1 Domain Ownership and DNS
You must own or have legitimate control over any domain you connect to ZeroCut. You are responsible for configuring your DNS records correctly, including any CNAME or A records we ask you to set up. If your DNS is misconfigured, your custom domain may not work, and we are not liable for downtime caused by DNS issues on your end.
You must not connect a domain that belongs to someone else, that infringes on a trademark, or that could reasonably be mistaken for another brand or person. If we receive a complaint about domain ownership or trademark infringement, we may disable your custom domain while the dispute is resolved.
5.2 SSL Certificates
We automatically provision and manage SSL/TLS certificates for your custom domain so that traffic is served over HTTPS. By connecting a domain, you authorize us to issue and renew certificates on your behalf through our infrastructure provider. If certificate issuance fails due to DNS misconfiguration or domain validation issues, your custom domain may be temporarily inaccessible over HTTPS until the issue is resolved.
5.3 Content Responsibility
When you connect a custom domain, your donation page — including your display name, profile image, donation goals, and any other content you provide — becomes accessible under your domain. You are solely responsible for everything displayed there:
- Your display name and profile information
- Profile images and avatars
- Donation goal descriptions
- Social platform links
- Any other user-generated content on your page
Because the page is served on your domain, visitors may reasonably associate the content with you rather than with ZeroCut. You bear full responsibility for ensuring that your content complies with applicable laws and does not violate the rights of others.
5.4 Content Moderation
We make reasonable efforts to moderate content across the platform, including profanity filtering on donation messages. That said, we cannot guarantee the removal of all objectionable material in real time. If you spot content that violates these Terms, let us know and we will look into it.
5.5 Prohibited Content
Custom domains must not be used to host, display, or promote:
- Offensive, hateful, or discriminatory content
- Misleading or deceptive content that impersonates another person or brand
- Content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
- Content that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Phishing pages, malware distribution, or any form of fraud
5.6 Enforcement and Takedown
We reserve the right to disable or remove any custom domain at any time if we determine, at our sole discretion, that:
- The content violates these Terms or applicable laws
- We receive valid abuse reports or legal complaints
- The domain is being used for fraudulent or deceptive purposes
- Continued operation poses a legal or reputational risk to ZeroCut
We operate under the laws of the European Union and will comply with applicable European regulations, including requests from competent authorities and domain registrars. Where required by law or by the policies of your domain registrar, we may suspend your custom domain, disable your account, or remove content.
5.7 Billing and expiry
Custom domains cost $1/month with Premium or $5/month with Basic. The custom-domain charge is a component of your ZeroCut recurring bill, not a separate parallel subscription. If the billing component is canceled or ends after unresolved payment failure, your custom domain will stop serving your donation page. Visitors may see an error page or no content. We do not redirect them elsewhere. You can reconnect the domain by adding the current custom-domain option to your billing account again.
If your domain registration itself expires (at your registrar, not at ZeroCut), we are not responsible for what happens to traffic intended for that domain. It is your responsibility to keep your domain registration active.
5.8 Liability
ZeroCut is not liable for any losses, damages, or disruptions arising from your use of a custom domain, including but not limited to DNS misconfiguration, domain expiry, certificate issuance failures, or content served on your domain that you provided. Your use of custom domains is at your own risk, and you agree to indemnify ZeroCut against any claims arising from content served on your custom domain.
6. Refunds and cancellations
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, one-time Basic and collaborator-seat purchases are final once delivered. Premium payments cover the billing period shown at checkout and are non-refundable after that period begins. Canceling Premium stops future renewals but does not automatically refund a payment already made.
A full refund or an opened or lost payment dispute affecting a Premium subscription payment ends the composed ZeroCut subscription and its recurring components, including a custom domain. A partial refund does not by itself cancel the subscription. If a dispute is later resolved in your favor after access has ended, contact support so we can review the provider record and available restoration options.
Donations are final except where the law or payment processor requires otherwise. Donation disputes must be resolved between the donor and creator or through the payment processor's dispute process.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a refund, withdrawal right, cancellation right, statutory guarantee, or other consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded in your country.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use ZeroCut to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
- Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities
- Collect donations for illegal purposes or activities
- Use a banned, restricted, limited, stolen, fraudulent, or otherwise unauthorized PayPal account
- Provide false, misleading, illegal, sanctioned, or otherwise prohibited Stripe, PayPal, payout, tax, identity, or payment account information
- Use payment accounts or payment details connected to fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, illegal activity, or violations of Stripe's or PayPal's terms
- Reuse the same Stripe account or PayPal email across multiple ZeroCut accounts without our written permission
- Create or use another account to evade a ban, suspension, restriction, account limit, trial limit, or prior enforcement action
- Abuse free trials, promotional offers, or access limits by opening duplicate accounts, rotating payment details, or using someone else's payment account to appear as a new user
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our services
- Use automated systems to access our services without permission
8. Content and Intellectual Property
8.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload or create on ZeroCut, including your profile information, donation page customization, and any other materials you provide.
8.2 License to ZeroCut
By using our services, you grant ZeroCut a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.
8.3 ZeroCut Intellectual Property
All ZeroCut trademarks, logos, and service marks are the property of ZeroCut. You may not use our intellectual property without our prior written consent, except as necessary to use our services in accordance with these Terms.
9. Disclaimers
ZeroCut provides its services "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- Our services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Any defects or errors will be corrected
- Our services will meet your specific requirements
ZeroCut is not responsible for the actions, content, or services of third parties, including payment processors, social media platforms, or streaming services.
10. Donations
Donations made through ZeroCut are final and non-refundable, except as required by law or as determined by the payment processor. ZeroCut is not responsible for disputes between creators and donors. Any refund requests should be handled directly between the creator and donor, or through the payment processor's dispute resolution process. Please refer to Section 6 for our complete refund and cancellation terms.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZeroCut shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our services.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZeroCut, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason including, but not limited to, violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or illegal conduct. Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease.
We may also suspend, disable, or permanently ban your account if you use or attempt to use banned, restricted, fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized payment accounts, or if you provide Stripe, PayPal, payout, identity, tax, or payment information that is false, misleading, unlawful, or prohibited by a payment processor's terms.
We may also suspend or permanently ban accounts that appear to be used for ban evasion, duplicate trials, or payment account reuse. This includes accounts tied to the same PayPal email, Stripe account, payment details, device, identity, or other signals we reasonably use to protect the service.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at contact@zerocut.gg. Upon termination, you remain responsible for any outstanding obligations.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email to the address associated with your account. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Section 4.3 controls changes to Premium renewal rates and the monthly price lock.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
