# Donation Page [#donation-page]

Your public page is where supporters land to donate. Open the **Page Editor** from **Settings > Customize Page** — it shows a live preview that updates as you type, at phone, tablet, and desktop widths.

## Bio [#bio]

Add a short line of text that appears above your goal, introducing yourself or your page (for example, "Variety streamer, six nights a week. Chat picks the game.").

* Available to every creator — it is page content, not a premium styling control.
* Plain text, up to 80 characters, so it stays to about two lines at any width.
* Leave it empty and the line simply doesn't render.

Set it under **Branding** in the Page Editor.

## Layout [#layout]

Choose how the page arranges itself on wide screens under **Layout**:

* **Adaptive** (default) — splits into two columns when there's enough beside the form to fill the second column, and stays single-column otherwise.
* **Single column** — always stacks everything in one column, like a phone.
* **Split** — always uses the two-column layout.

<Callout type="info">
  The split layout needs a **goal and at least one perk** to have something to place beside the
  donation form — with only one of them, a two-column page would leave a mostly-empty column, so
  Adaptive and Split stay single-column until both are present. Phones always use a single column,
  so every supporter sees the same reading order regardless of your setting.

The rest of the page — theme, colors, avatar, watermark — is configured in the same editor. See [Features](/docs/features) for what's included on each access plan.
